๐Ÿซฑ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿซฒ๐Ÿฝ Book me

I’m available. Let’s talk.

Thirteen years of building Get Your Comic On has taken me from a Tumblr blog to red carpets, press junkets, comic con show floors and studio screenings. Along the way I’ve discovered that some of my favourite work happens when I’m not behind a keyboard โ€” when I’m in a conversation, on a panel, in front of a camera or behind a microphone with someone else in the room.

If you’re looking for a guest who knows their stuff, can talk passionately and intelligently about pop culture without needing a safety net, and won’t require three rounds of briefing notes to get up to speed โ€” that’s me.

What I’m Available For

Podcast Guest Appearances Subject matter expert, co-host, reviewer, analyst. I’ve guested on podcasts covering everything from Batman to Bond to Doctor Who and I’m comfortable across the full spectrum of geek culture conversation. Check out the Guest Appearances page for the full list.

Panel Discussions Comic cons, industry events, fan conventions. I’ve been on both sides of the panel table and I know how to hold a room and keep a conversation moving.

Radio & TV Commentary Pop culture commentary, breaking entertainment news, franchise analysis. I’m on the BBC Radio contributor database and available for rapid-turnaround commentary when a story breaks.

Live Events & Q&A Moderation Screenings, premieres, fan events. Comfortable on stage and in front of an audience.

Comic Con Appearances Whether that’s as a panellist, a moderator or a guest โ€” comic cons are genuinely my natural habitat.

What I Bring

Thirteen years of genuine expertise across comics, film, television and pop culture. A track record of over fifty guest appearances across podcasts, YouTube channels and on-camera shows. A publication with over 1.5 million annual unique visitors behind me. And the kind of enthusiasm for this stuff that doesn’t need warming up.

I don’t do this because it looks good. I do it because I genuinely love it. That tends to come across.

Get In Touch

If you’d like to discuss an appearance or collaboration, drop me an email at neil@getyourcomicon.co.uk and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

I’m Neil

I’m the founder and editor-in-chief of Get Your Comic On, an independent UK pop culture publication covering comics, film, TV, gaming and anime. Thirteen years in, and I’m still just a kid who got excited about a comic con press pass.
